Hi! I'm the founder and CEO of ActionFinder.co.uk. I've long had an interest in using technology to better people's experience and understanding of the outdoors. Hopefully the site will bring together outdoor professionals and enthusiasts and increase the number of people taking part in courses and adventure training taster sessions.

I hope you like the site. Let me know via the forums of your thoughts and suggestions for improvements. We're currently looking at features designed to build up an online outdoor community, including features for clubs, gear shops, and outdoor centres. Let us know what you think.

Route Planner launch soon...

We've finally gotton the Route Planning feature into a usable state. We hit a lot of snags around automatic calculation. Many of these are now resolved, but the automatic height gain has proved a real problem.
